Sarah Larson · Relationship coach

I divorced my husband. Two years later, I married him again.

Same man. Understanding the pattern we had been caught in changed how I approached our relationship.

Successful at work, but struggling with conflict or distance at home? Relationship Reset helps married men practice calmer responses, clearer communication, and consistent actions that support trust and connection—even when your wife is not participating.

Structured relationship coaching, practical coursework, and support—in a group or one-to-one with Sarah.

You can change your part of the pattern. You cannot control your partner’s choices—or guarantee reconciliation.

A different way forward

Why does trying harder seem to create more distance?

The words change, but the cycle feels familiar: one person reaches for a solution while the other pulls away. Sarah’s introduction explains what keeps that loop going and where your choices can change it.

Recognize the cycle

You care about your marriage. Why does it still feel farther away?

You have read the books, tried counseling, and searched for better words. Yet the same conversation returns, and you still feel stuck.

01 / EFFORT

You keep trying

More explanations and more attempts to repair things seem to create more distance.

02 / CONFLICT

Small moments escalate

A conversation you hoped would help turns into the same argument again.

03 / THERAPY

You understand more

You can name the problem, but you still need a different response in the moment.

04 / INTIMACY

Closeness feels distant

You miss being wanted and do not know how to rebuild connection.

05 / DOUBT

You question the future

You wonder how long the two of you can keep living this way.

06 / SILENCE

You carry it alone

From the outside, you seem to have it handled. Inside, the uncertainty follows you.

The recurring cycle

What feels like a communication problem may be a pattern of pursuit and retreat.

When you move closer to solve things, your partner may feel more pressure. When she pulls back, you may try even harder. The response that feels helpful can keep the cycle moving.

The Reset Method starts with the part of that cycle you can influence: your own response.

01Distance appears
02You reach for a solution
03Pressure rises
04The distance grows
The Reset Method

You can change your part of the pattern.

Four pillars. Practical skills for the moments that matter at home.

01 / Regulate

Stay Calm. Stand Strong.

Handle tension without losing your temper, shutting down, or saying something you regret.

When your wife says something painful, practice pausing, settling yourself, and returning to the conversation at an agreed time rather than escalating or disappearing.

02 / Communicate

Be Heard Without the Fight.

Speak with confidence, tackle the hard conversations, and move toward connection instead of conflict.

Instead of “Nothing I do is ever good enough,” practice: “I hear that you’ve been feeling alone. Can you help me understand what has felt hardest?” Express your own needs and boundaries respectfully, too.

03 / Become

Get Yourself Back.

Rebuild your confidence, self-respect, and the part of you that’s gotten lost in the struggle.

Strengthen your habits, health, values, friendships, boundaries, and follow-through. Become someone you respect, regardless of how your partner responds.

04 / Consistency

Make the Change Last.

Move beyond a few good days. Build the steady foundation for trust, closeness, and intimacy.

Choose specific commitments and follow through: take responsibility for an agreed household task without reminders, or return to a difficult conversation when you said you would.

A different kind of support

Getting help is a decision to take the relationship seriously.

Many men hesitate to ask for help with their relationship. Sarah’s work focuses on specific changes you can practice when conversations become difficult.

What the work focuses on

  • Recognizing your response before a conversation escalates
  • Communicating without adding pressure
  • Building habits that can be repeated over time

Questions, answered

Before you take the next step.

Does my wife have to participate?

No. The men’s program can focus on your own responses, communication, boundaries, and follow-through. Any joint conversation or exercise requires her willingness.

Can I join if we are separated?

Possibly. We will discuss your circumstances and goals on the clarity call. Coaching is not a promise of reconciliation or a way to override someone’s boundaries.

Who is a good fit?

High-achieving married men who are successful professionally but struggling with disconnection, recurring conflict, trust, or intimacy at home. You should be willing to examine your own behavior, receive feedback, practice between sessions, and make a realistic commitment of time and money. This is not for someone seeking a guaranteed outcome or techniques to control their partner. Divorced men may be considered individually for confidence and relationship patterns.

How much time will this take?

Group coaching includes two one-hour live sessions per week for six weeks, plus selected lessons and practical exercises. Private coaching runs for four months; Sarah will confirm its live-session schedule before enrollment. Practice connects to everyday life. You are not expected to complete the entire coursebook immediately; discuss a realistic practice commitment on your call.

Is this therapy, and will it save my marriage?

It is coaching, not therapy, and does not replace appropriate clinical care. Relationship Reset does not provide mental health diagnosis or treatment. No outcome involving another person’s choices can be guaranteed. The focus is on the skills and actions you can take responsibility for.

What happens on the clarity call?

We’ll discuss what is happening in your relationship, explore the patterns you want to change, and determine whether the program fits your needs. We’ll also review the support, commitment, and investment before you decide. The call is not therapy, and booking does not commit you to enrolling.

What happens after I enroll, and what are the payment terms?

Sarah will review the investment and payment terms with you on your clarity call. After payment confirmation, the site guides you through the agreement acknowledgment and onboarding booking; Sarah arranges the signed agreement during onboarding. The current written agreement states that payments are non-refundable after signing, except where applicable law requires otherwise; it also preserves protections for services Sarah cannot provide. Private sessions require at least 24 hours’ written notice to reschedule, subject to availability and the program deadline. Review the full agreement and confirm session scheduling, course access, and support with Sarah before purchasing. Financing methods, if offered at checkout, depend on provider availability and eligibility; approval is not guaranteed.

Why this work exists

Understanding the argument is only the beginning.

You may already know the words for what goes wrong. The harder part is noticing your reaction early enough to do something different, then repeating that choice when the same pressure returns.

Inside the method

Four skills that build on each other.

01 / REGULATE

Stay Calm. Stand Strong.

Pause, settle yourself, and return to a difficult conversation at an agreed time.

02 / COMMUNICATE

Be Heard Without the Fight.

Listen clearly, express your needs, and set boundaries without attacking.

03 / BECOME

Get Yourself Back.

Strengthen your habits, values, confidence, and self-respect.

04 / CONSISTENCY

Make the Change Last.

Make specific commitments and follow through in ordinary moments.

Who it is for

You can begin with your own side of the cycle.

For established professionals, entrepreneurs, executives, and business owners who are married and struggling with disconnection, recurring conflict, trust, or intimacy at home. Separated men may also be a fit when focused on their own communication, regulation, boundaries, and decisions.

Coaching is educational. Sarah will discuss whether it fits your situation on a 30-minute call; it does not guarantee a particular relationship outcome.
